Akshay Kumar gets injured on the sets of Housefull 5

This happened after Akshay Kumar sustained an eye injury while performing a stunt on the sets of the film. As per a source close to Hindustan Times, the film is in the final stage and Akshay Kumar wants to finish the shoot soon. An ophthalmologist was called on the set immediately, who bandaged the eye. He has asked Akshay to rest for some time. The shoot resumed with the other actors on the sets. However, the production house and Akshay Kumar’s team has not yet released any official statement in this matter. Housefull 5 is scheduled to release in theatres on June 6, 2025. The movie has a huge star cast including Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dino Morea, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff, Johnny Lever, Nikitin Dheer, Jacqueline Fernandez, Chitrangda Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma and Sonam Bajwa.

Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor were also a part of the movie. However, as per reports, Anil Kapoor has backed out from the film. As per reports, Anil and producer Sajid Nadiadwala could not come to terms on the fees of the actor. Nana Patekar’s role is undergoing alterations as his character was shown having close interactions with Anil Kapoor’s character.
