Thursday 1st May will be the first nationwide polling day since Labour’s landslide general election last year.

Millions of voters will go to the polls to elect 23 councils and six mayors across England. The elections are Labour’s first major test since their General Election victory.

We spoke to Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, and began by asking him if he thought Keir Starmer was doing a good job.
