Cold wave grips Delhi-NCR with severe AQI and fog ahead of Christmas

A thick layer of fog engulfed the national capital as cold wave gripped the city, visuals from Kartavya Path. Fog covered parts of Delhi as the minimum temp dropped to 7°C, as per IMD on Dec 24, drone visuals from Bhikaji Cama Place. The Air Quality Index (AQI) remained in the ‘Severe’ category in Delhi as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
