Kagame and Tshisekedi meet in Qatar for first direct talks since latest escalation in eastern DRC
In a surprising twist of event, DR Congo and Rwanda presidents held an informal meeting in Qatar on Tuesday. It is their first direct talks since Rwanda-backed M23 rebels seized two major cities in eastern DRC. Felix Tshisekedi and Paul Kagame express their support for a ceasefire in a joint statement.
