Live: Albanese and Dutton back in Sydney for Good Friday’s campaign trail

A quiet Good Friday expected
Both campaigns are in Sydney today for a bit of a breather, as voters switch off for the long weekend.
Apart from some light campaigning — perhaps some charitable visit or even a trip to a church — it’s set to be a time to reload.
Both campaigns know they’ve had their last real chance to pitch to the electorate before early voting begins on Tuesday.
That’s why we’ve had such a policy-heavy week.
But as we know, even the most innocuous campaign stop can produce an unexpected moment.
So let’s not count our chickens on a long weekend lull just yet!
Welcome to the blog
Good morning and happy Good Friday to those who celebrate!
Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton are back in Sydney for the campaign trail today.
Friends of the blog Tom Crowley and Olivia Caisley are on the media buses, to bring us all the action from there.
Let’s hop to it!
